Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
